Infants
Teachers: Enecita
Teddy Bears (Infants)- 6 Weeks – 19 months
Your infant will be in a safe and comfortable environment designed to stimulate and amuse him or her at all levels of development. The infant program is flexible and accommodating to each child’s schedule and needs, with activities based on the children’s interests. During circle time, we sing songs and read age appropriate books with each other. When weather permits, we’ll go for walks around the block in triple strollers or play outside in our large play yard.
The large, bright playroom includes colorful mats, a story area, and an assortment of age appropriate toys. We provide highchairs and cribs for the younger children and tables and cots for the older children.
Staff in the Teddy Bear room don’t just care for your child’s needs. They stimulate your child’s curiosity and eagerness to learn through:

- Building and sorting
- Art exploration

19 mths - 3 Years
Toddlers

Toddlers (Monkeys) – 19 months to 3 years
Your little toddler is busy learning, approaching the world with curiosity and seeking a sense of belonging. Our toddler program encourages the children to build a community in an environment that supports learning together and caring for each other.
The toddlers eat meals at tables together and enjoy an open concept playroom with free play and weekly activities that promote exploration and learning. The children play daily in the outdoor playground, or on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll play inside the centre. During the summer, experiences such as a petting zoo and puppet shows are brought into the centre.
A toddler’s day consists of:

3 - 4.5 Years
Preschoolers

Preschoolers (Ladybugs) – 3 to 4.5 years
Your little preschooler is busy learning how to take care of themselves! Our preschool program encourages the children to build self-help skills such as dressing themselves, toileting themselves, and eating with utensils.
The preschoolers are always busy and on the move, with weekly activities that promote exploration and learning. The children play daily in the outdoor playground and love to explore!
A toddler’s day consists of:

4.5 - 6 Years
Kindergarten

Kindergarten (Pandas) – 4.5 to 6 years
Your kindergartener is ready to learn! This age is so curious, and ready to explore the world around them in any way possible. Our kindergarten program is designed to grow this sense of wonder in the children’s minds.
In the Pandas, your child will spend time learning important academic skills, such as scissor and glue work, proper pencil holding techniques, letter/sound recognition, and writing or tracing letters and numbers. They will also play outside daily in our large playground, and inside in the room’s vast centres (construction, manipulatives, loose parts, puzzles/games, kitchen/house, and tabletop activities).
A kindergarten’s day consists of:
- Free centre play
- Letter/sound games
- Reading books
- Circle (calendar) time
- Structured & self-guided art
- Playing instruments

1 - 6 Grades
Out of School
Teachers: Jen
Out of School Care (Panthers) – Grades 1 to 6
Your school aged child is ready for some freedom! This age craves the opportunity to problem solve, and get things done themselves. Our out-of-school program is designed to give children the freedom they need to grow and blossom.
In the Panthers, your child will continue to practice their academic skills through art activities and games. They will also play outside daily in our large playground, and inside in the room’s vast centres (construction, manipulatives, loose parts, puzzles/games, kitchen/house, foosball, and tabletop activities). During the summer and school breaks, our Panthers have an action-packed schedule that includes sledding, nature walks, swimming, and field trips.
A Panther’s day consists of:
- Free centre play
- Academic activities
- Reading books
- Circle (calendar) time
- Structured & self-guided art
- Time to do homework
