Out of School Care (Panthers) – Grades 1 to 6

Your school-aged child is ready for some freedom! Children this age crave the opportunity to problem-solve and get things done themselves. Our out-of-school program is designed to give children the freedom they need to grow and blossom.
In the Panthers, your child will continue to practice their academic skills through art activities and games. They will also play outside daily in our large playground, and inside in the room’s vast centres (construction, manipulatives, loose parts, puzzles/games, kitchen/house, foosball, and tabletop activities). During the summer and school breaks, our Panthers have an action-packed schedule that includes sledding, nature walks, swimming, and field trips.
A Panther’s day consists of:
- Free centre play
- Academic activities
- Reading books
- Circle (calendar) time
- Structured & self-guided art
- Time to do homework
